About BTV
Bangladesh Television is the state broadcaster and the country's oldest television service, on air since December 1964 — originally as a Pakistan Television station in Dhaka. It was the only television channel in Bangladesh until ATN Bangla launched in 1997.
BTV still has the widest terrestrial reach of any Bangladeshi channel, which is why it carries national addresses, budget speeches and examination results. BTV World and the parliamentary channel Sangsad Television operate alongside it.
বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশন (বিটিভি) দেশের রাষ্ট্রীয় টেলিভিশন, ১৯৬৪ সালের ২৫ ডিসেম্বর থেকে সম্প্রচারে রয়েছে। টেরিস্ট্রিয়াল সম্প্রচারে এটির বিস্তৃতি সবচেয়ে বেশি।
